Keep an eye on: Pop Punk

1) Undercast

After touring with As It Is earlier this year, Sydney’s Undercast have started to build their credibility among pop punk fans nationwide. They have just finished a short string of release shows for their latest single ‘Loiter’ and are about to jump back in the studio to record more new music.

2) Stuck Out

Stuck Out joined Undercast for their recent Melbourne shows, with both bands proving they are going to do great things for the local music scene. Last year Stuck Out revealed their promising 3-track release ‘What We’ve Come To Be’, with plans to release their debut EP soon.

3) Columbus

Brisbane’s Columbus kicked off the year with not one but two sets at UNIFY, and the fun hasn’t stopped there. Columbus are getting ready to release their new acoustic EP ‘Next To Me’ on April 28th, with launch shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane to follow. Columbus are touring with Real Friends throughout Winter, and hope to release their debut album this year too.

4) Bukowski

Melbourne band Bukowski have only recently jumped onto the scene but they are already making themselves known. Bukowski premiered their debut single ‘You’re Probably Gonna Hate This’ in February, with their debut EP ‘Grow Up. Give Up. Let Go.’ due out this June.

5) Harbours

It’s been a year since we first heard Harbours exciting debut EP ‘Nothing Stays The Same’ but the hype is still there. The following months kicked off an extensive touring schedule for the band, which Harbours have maintained through to this year. Harbours will be joining Columbus on the Real Friends tour later this year.
